Corrosion on a radiant supply line is one of those problems that sneaks up on you. The system keeps running, but efficiency drops and the leak gets worse over time. Left alone, a corroded 3/4" copper line like this one can turn into a much bigger - and more expensive - headache.
Here's what we were working with: a corroded radiant supply line that was actively leaking and dragging down the whole system's performance. The damaged section needed to come out completely. Patching corroded copper rarely holds long-term, and it's not something we're willing to put our name on.
We cut out the problem section, ran new copper, and while we were at it, fixed a leaking flex line that was also contributing to the issue. Clean solder joints, proper fittings, no shortcuts. The kind of work that holds up for years.
Radiant heating systems are efficient and reliable when they're in good shape - but they do have their weak points. Copper lines, flex connections, and fittings all degrade over time. Catching a leak early and repairing it properly keeps the system running the way it's supposed to and protects the structure around it from water damage.
We serve Santa Rosa and all of Sonoma County. If your radiant heat system isn't performing like it should, or you've noticed any signs of a leak around your pipes or mechanical room, we're the crew to call.
