Whole-House Well Water Filtration and Softener System Upgrade

Here's what we were working with: one basic inline filter housing with copper piping running into the house. It was doing some work, but nowhere near enough to protect the plumbing or deliver truly clean water to every tap. So we pulled it out and started fresh with a complete treatment setup.

We installed a Pro Aqua three-stage filtration bank - handling activated carbon block (ACB), carbon (CRK), and sediment (SED) filtration in sequence - alongside a full-size water softener tank and brine unit. Each stage has its own pressure gauge so you can actually monitor what's happening in the system at a glance. The copper piping ties it all together cleanly and keeps the setup solid for the long haul.

The difference a setup like this makes is real. Sediment gets caught early. Hardness minerals get pulled out before they can scale up the water heater or clog fixture aerators. And the activated carbon stage takes care of taste and odor issues that well water is notorious for. Every faucet, shower, and appliance in the house benefits from it.
